Wer sich Performance im Sinne von nicht enden wollender Leistung, also die geballte automobile Motorkraft schlechthin, ganz oben auf die persönliche Prioritätenliste schreibt, der kommt an PP-Performance einfach nicht vorbei

Weißbach/Deutschland. Nicht nur die deutsche Niederlassung in Weißbach des Unternehmens folgt der Devise „Wir führen, andere folgen“, sondern auch deren handverlesene Stützpunkthändler.
 
Kein Geringerer als der Porsche 911 Turbo, dessen Ursprung bereits auf das Jahr 1963 (!) zurückgeht, er somit bereits auf mehr als 50 Jahre Geschichte zurückblicken kann und deswegen völlig zu Recht als Inbegriff dieser Marke gilt, ist diesmal das Objekt der Begierde. Wobei man sich mit der seriellen Leistung schon keineswegs zu verstecken braucht.

Das Profi-Team von PP-Performance hat dem wohl bekanntesten Familienmitglied der Zuffenhausener Sportwagen-Schmiede nochmals gehörig mehr Dampf in den Kessel implantiert, so dass aus 520 PS (=382 kW) und 660 Nm der Serie nach dem „chirurgischen PP-Eingriff“ 670 PS (= 493 kW) bzw. 820 Nm maximales Drehmoment werden. Damit lassen sich dann auch beeindruckende Beschleunigungswerte erzielen: statt in 3,4 Sekunden der Serie wird der Sprint aus dem Stand auf 100 km/h in 2,5 Sekunden erledigt. Damit zieht dieser 911 Turbo mit dem Bugatti Veyron 16.4 gleich. Letzterer hat übrigens schon jede Menge Geschwindigkeits-Weltrekorde erzielt.

Statt nach 11,1 Sekunden der Serie fällt die 200 km/h-Grenze aus dem Stand mit dem PP-911 bereits nach 8,2 Sekunden! So ist auch der 9,8-Sekunden-Weltrekord in der entsprechenden Klasse für die ¼-Mile nicht weiter verwunderlich.

Dabei ist der „chirurgische Eingriff“ in die Technik des Triebwerkes gar nicht so gravierend, aber eben zweckorientiert. Zu erwähnen sind in diesem Zusammenhang u. a. eine PP-Performance Digital Racing Box, IPD Intake Plenum, 3-to-1 Headers, Downpipes, X-Pipe sowie Hochleistungs-Luftfilter von BMC. Der Umbau-Preis für diesen wahrhaft außergewöhnlichen Porsche beläuft sich auf 11.999 Euro.

Those, whose supreme priority of car performance in the sense of ever lasting output boost is the concentrated automobile engine power in general can simply not go around PP-Performance. Not only for the German branch of the enterprise at Weissbach the name of the game is „We are leading, others are following“, the same motto applies also to the kind of “hand-picked” licensed dealers.

Now, after “surgical intervention” by PP-Performance, the serial 520 HP (=382 kW) with 660 Nm of max. torque have become 670 HP (= 493 kW) with 820 Nm of max. torque. This way impressing acceleration values can be reached: sprint from zero up to 60 mph is made within 2.5 instead of the serial 3.4 seconds. Thus, this 911 Turbo equals with Bugatti Veyron 16.4. By the way – the latter has already reached quite a number of speed world records. Instead of 11.1 seconds of the serial version, the 120 mph limit is reached by PP-911 within 8.2 seconds already from zero! And so, the 9.8 seconds world record in the corresponding class for the ¼ mile on dragstrip is no wonder at all.
 
At that, the „surgical intervention“ into the engine techniques is more purposeful than grave. Among others, there are to be mentioned the PP-Performance Digital Racing Box, IPD intake plenum, 3-to-1 headers, downpipes, x-pipe and BMC high performance air filters. The tuning price for this really exceptional Porsche is of 11,999 Euro.
