Nirgendwo steht in Stein gemeißelt, dass sich Tuning mit all seinen Facetten ausschließlich auf Limousinen, Coupés und Cabrios beschränkt

Hildesheim.Nicht zum ersten Mal trumpft die KTW Tuning GmbH in Hildesheim, entstanden aus dem KTW-Kompetenz-Zentrum für Nutzfahrzeuge, mit einem Fahrzeug der Kategorie Utilities von Mercedes-Benz. Diesmal ist – einmal mehr – ein Viano das Objekt der Begierde.

 

Mit viel Liebe zum Detail haben die Profis von KTW Tuning unter der Federführung der KTW Tuningabteilung den seit 2010 produzierten Mercedes-Benz Viano 3.0 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY zu einem Performance-gestählten Hingucker allererster Güte „umfunktioniert“. Die erste Position im Lastenheft ist eine Brabus-Leistungssteigerung ECO PowerXtra D6S, die aus den Serien-Werten 224 PS (= 165 kW) bzw. 440 Nm maximales Drehmoment nunmehr 265 Power-PS (= 195 kW) machen und 500 Nm max. Drehmoment an der Kurbelwelle zerren lassen. Dies erlaubt unterm Strich eine Beschleunigung aus dem Stand auf 100 km/h in 8,7 Sekunden und eine in der Tat nicht zu verachtende Vmax von 208 km/h. Inklusive Montage und Segen des TÜVs werden 1.990 Euro (zzgl. MwSt.) fällig.

Es folgt ein Satz KTW Tuning Kompletträder der Dimension 9,5x22 ET45, bereift mit 255/30R22er Pneus. Einschließlich Montage, Felgenschlössern, rot lackierten Bremssätteln, Achsvermessung, TÜV-Abnahme und Eintragung werden 3.516 Euro (zzgl. MwSt.) aufgerufen. Und ein B14-Gewindefahrwerk von Bilstein schlägt inklusive Montage, Achsvermessung und Eintragung mit 1.866 Euro (zzgl. MwSt.) zu Buche.

 

Auch das Interieur bleibt nicht verschont. Neben einem sogenannten One Look Navi INE-W970BT von Alpine inkl. Gladen-Subwoofer und Einbau für 1.700 Euro (zzgl. MwSt.) ist auch ein TrackJack Ortungsmodul zum Preis von ca. 200 Euro (Einbau inbegriffen, zzgl. MwSt.) installiert. Abschließend seien noch die zusätzlichen Teile wie die Schweller, der Auspuff, die Brabus-Logos, die Folierung der Interieurleisten, der lackierte Grill sowie die Heck-Zierleiste erwähnt, die dem „Gesamtkunstwerk“ den letzten Schliff geben.

BLACK VIANO by KTW TUNING

 

There is nothing written in stone that says that tuning with all its facets is limited solely to sedans, coupes and cabriolets! KTW Tuning GmbH in Hildesheim trumps not for the first time, created from KTW- competence center for commercial vehicles, with Utilities category vehicle from Mercedes-Benz. This time – once again ´Viano is object of desire.

 

With great attention to detail the professionals of KTW Tuning under the lead management of KTW tuning department have converted Mercedes-Benz Viano 3.0 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, which has been produced since 2010, to enhanced power eye-catcher of the highest quality. The first position in the specification is Brabus-performance increase ECO PowerXtra D6S, which now transforms series values 224 PS (= 165 kW) or 440 Nm maximum torque into 265 Power-PS (= 195 kW) and pulls 500Nm maximum torque at the crankshaft. On balance, it allows to reach acceleration from a standstill to 100 km/h in 8.7 seconds and indeed important V max of 208 km/h. Assembly and TÜV approval cost 1.990 Euro (plus VAT).

 

It follows a set of KTW tuning complete wheels of the dimension 9,5x22 ET45 fitted with 255/30R22 tyres. Assembly, including wheel locks, red painted calipers, wheel alignment, TÜV acceptance and registration will require 3.516 Euro (plus VAT). And B14-Coilover suspension from Bilstein, including assembly, wheel alignment and registration costs 1.866 Euro (plus VAT).

 

The interior will not be spared as well. Besides so-called One Look Navi INE-W970BT from Alpine incl. Gladen-Subwoofer and installation for 1.700 Euro (plus VAT) TrackJack tracking module at a price of approximately 200 Euro (installation included, plus VAT) is installed as well. Finally extra parts such as the sill, the exhaust, the Brabus-logos, the foliation of the interior trim, the painted grill and rear trims are mentioned, which give the “total work of art” that finish polish.
