Mechernich/Deutschland. Die Abstimmung und Weiterentwicklung der Software wird auf einem Superflow-Allrad-Hochleistungsprüfstand vom Typ SF880 durchgeführt und die ausgiebig getesteten Softwareoptimierungen sind national ebenso anerkannt wie international.

Der Proband des mcchip-dkr-Teams um Geschäftsführer Danny KUBASIK ist diesmal kein Geringerer als ein Porsche 991 Carrera S 3.0 mit Serienwerten von 420 PS (= 309 kW) und 500 Nm Drehmoment. Für den neuen Porsche 911 gilt ab sofort Turbo statt Sauger! Die Chiptuner in Mechernich bieten der Kundschaft einerseits eine „nur“ aus der Software bestehende Stufe 1 zum Preis von 2.499 Euro inkl. MwSt. an, mit der 475 PS (= 349 kW) bzw. 570 Nm erreicht werden. Andererseits beinhaltet die Stufe 2, für die 8.349 Euro inkl. MwSt. aufgerufen werden, neben der Software auch eine mcchip-dkr-Klappenabgasanlage mit Sportkats „made by Capristo“ inkl. Montage. Mit dieser Stufe 2 stehen 485 PS (= 357 kW) bzw. 585 Nm zur freien Verfügung.

Das mcchip-dkr-Projektfahrzeug Porsche 991 Carrera S 3.0 ist übrigens mit der vorerwähnten Stufe 2 ausgestattet. Darüber hinaus weist der quicklebendige Zuffenhausener eine sogenannte PDK-Getriebeoptimierung auf, bei der das Zwangshoch- und -runterschalten (Kickdown) deaktiviert ist, das Hoch- und Runterschalten (+/-) wie beim 991 GT3 und 991 Turbo gedreht ist, die maximale Drehzahl erhöht ist, die Schaltzeiten verkürzt sind und der Kupplungsdruck erhöht ist. Diese Getriebeoptimierung erscheint mit 1.490 Euro inkl. MwSt. auf der Rechnung. Sie ist ferner auch für den Cayman 987 bzw. 981, den Boxster 987 bzw. 981 und den Elfer Typ 997 erhältlich. Zu erwähnen sind noch die KW-Gewindefedern und das hauseigene Foliendesign.

MCCHIP-DKR AND ITS INCREDIBLE VERSION OF A PORSCHE 991 CARRERA S 3.0

Effective immediately the new Porsche 911 will be delivered with a turbo instead of a aspirating engine! Mcchip-dkr offers with level 1 “only” the pure software for 2.499 Euro incl. VAT in order to gain 475 HP (= 349 kW) respectively 570 ft.-lbs. of torque. With level 2 for 8.349 Euro incl. VAT includes the software and a mcchip-dkr valve exhaust system with sport catalytic's “made by Capristo”. Installation included.

If choosing level 2, a 485 HP (= 357 kW) respectively 585 ft.-lbs. of torque will remain freely at the driver's disposal. Of course, the mcchip-dkr project vehicle, Porsche 991 Carrera S 3.0, is equipped with level 2. The speedy Porsche is also outfitted with a so-called PDK-transmission optimization. This means, the enforced up- or downshifting (kickdown) is deactivated, the up- and downshifting (+/-) works like the 991 GT3 and 991 Turbo, the maximum of the engine speed/RPM is increased and faster gear shifting as well as a higher clutch pressure are in effect. The transmission enhancement adds 1.490 Euro incl. VAT to the mcchip-dkr invoice. This feature is also available for the Cayman 987 or 981, the Boxster 987 or 981 and the 911 type 997. Finally, the reliable KW-thread springs and the striking in-house vinyl design have to be mentioned.
